Seacrest Beach Oct. 2011 Market Update

Seacrest Beach real estate market updateData from 2007 to 2010 indicates that the average price per square foot of a home in Seacrest dropped dramatically. However, prices appear to be stabilizing once again as the average price looks to have increased slightly in 2011 for Seacrest Beach Real Estate. While the data over the past two years indicates a drop in the number of homes sold in Seacrest, the average price per square foot appears to have leveled off. After a number of years in which the price of homes in Seacrest has dropped

significantly, it looks as though we may finally be seeing a bottom to the market drop. We are currently witnessing strong signs of market stabilization as virtually identical per square foot prices have emerged for the second consecutive year.

Data from 2007 and 2008 indicates that the number of homes sold in Seacrest increased significantly in 2008. However, the figures also suggest that the amount of sellers far outnumbered the amount of buyers as the price per square foot suffered a dramatic drop. In 2009, prices continued to drop as the market fell. In 2010 and 2011, the data clearly indicates price stabilization as the number of buyers has caught up to the number of sellers. This is positive feedback for 30a real estate in general.
